The U.S. ITC has, unsurprisingly, determined that an acceleration in imports of large, residential washing machines has injured U.S. industry including Whirlpool. The injury phase of the case will run through December 5, at which stage President Trump will decide what combination of tariffs and/or quotas will be applied.
